Sambamoorthy (Sam) is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary with over 30 years of senior management experience.
Sam is the Managing Partner in Venture Hub and he is responsible for managing and offering professional services to the entrepreneurs and founders of start-up ventures as a Mentor, Board Advisor and Investor.
Prior to Venture Hub which started in 2019, Sam Cofounded Collabrant Incubators in 2004. During his 15 year tenure in Collabrant, he had assisted various start-up ventures at the Incubation stage.
Before incorporating Collabrant Incubators, Sam was associated with start up like Zip Telecom and BPL Mobile, apart from working in senior management position in few other large corporates.
Sam’s domain specialization is in the field of Finance, Accounts, Secretarial, legal and General Management. He had handled various Joint ventures, Angel/VC/PE funding, Debt fund sourcing and M&A in his Corporate Career.
Sam is passionate to work closely with the Entrepreneurs of the early stage ventures and to act as a Catalyst in their journey to success.

- In 2016, Collabrant has been nominated as top 20 financial advisors by SiliconIndia magazine.
- Sam is a jury for India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC) a Business Plan competition for Engineering students conducted every year by Dept of Science and Technology in association with Texas Instruments.
- Sam is a member of Indian Angel Network and IP Ventures. He has invested in more than 20 start up ventures as an Angel Investor. Sam is a mentor and advisor for multiple start up ventures.
- During his career as CFO in Zip Telecom, Sam was selected as the Final Top 10 Nominee of the CFO of the year award (by IMA/AMEX) for the year 2003 for mid-size companies.
